Frequently Asked Questions

How is card value determined in Board Adventures trades?

Card value is based on star rating (rarity). Common 1-star cards are worth 1 point, while the rarest 5-star cards are worth 50 points. The scale reflects how difficult each card is to obtain: 2-star = 3 pts, 3-star = 8 pts, 4-star = 20 pts, 5-star = 50 pts. Golden versions of any card are worth double.

What makes a Board Adventures trade fair or unfair?

A trade is considered fair when both sides exchange cards of roughly equal total point value. Our calculator flags trades as "Fair" when the ratio is between 0.8x and 1.2x, "Slightly Uneven" between 0.5x-0.8x or 1.2x-2.0x, and "Unfair" when the gap exceeds 2x. Context matters too -- a card you need to complete a set may be worth more to you personally.

Are golden cards worth more in Board Adventures trades?

Yes. Golden cards have a 2x multiplier on their base star value. A golden 5-star card is worth 100 points compared to 50 for the regular version. Golden cards are much rarer and harder to obtain, so their higher trade value reflects that scarcity. Always check whether a card has a golden variant when evaluating trades.
