Everything you need to master Board Adventure in 2026. From beginner basics to advanced strategies used by top players.
Board Adventure (officially "Coin Master Board Adventures") is a casual mobile game that combines board game mechanics with card collecting. The core gameplay loop is simple but deeply strategic once you understand the systems.
Every turn, you roll a dice to move your token around a circular board. Each tile on the board triggers a different action:
Each roll costs one energy. You can roll 1x, 3x, or 5x at a time. Rolling higher multiples moves you further on the board and gives proportionally larger rewards, but uses more energy. Most experienced players prefer 1x rolls for precise board control during events and 3x or 5x rolls when they want to burn energy quickly.
Your goal is to build and upgrade all five items in your current village to advance to the next one. Each village has a unique theme and set of items. There are hundreds of villages, and each one gets progressively more expensive to complete. Along the way, you collect cards, complete albums, and compete in events for massive rewards.
Don't rush through villages during non-event periods. Save your coins and energy for Village Master events where you earn huge bonuses for completing village upgrades.
Energy is the fundamental resource in Board Adventure. Every dice roll costs energy, and managing your energy supply is the single most important skill for progressing efficiently. Running out of energy means you can't play, so knowing every method to earn free energy is essential.
You regenerate energy passively at a rate of 5 energy every 10 minutes (about 30 per hour), up to a maximum of 50 stored energy from passive regen. However, energy earned from other sources can stack well beyond that cap. There is no hard cap on total energy — some players stockpile thousands of energy before big events.
| Method | Energy Amount | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Passive Regeneration | 5 energy | Every 10 minutes (cap: 50) |
| Facebook Link Bonus | +50 energy | One-time |
| Friend Sharing | Up to 100/day | Daily (from friends sending energy) |
| Daily Login Rewards | 10-50 energy | Daily |
| Watching Ads | 5-15 energy | Multiple times daily |
| Event Rewards | 50-500+ energy | During events |
| Card Set Completion | 100-1,000+ energy | Per set completed |
| Village Completion | Varies | Per village finished |
| Free Energy Links (social media) | 25-50 energy each | Posted daily on official pages |
| Lucky Wheel / Mini Games | Varies | When available |
| In-App Purchase | Varies | Anytime |
The most efficient players stockpile energy in the days before a major event. Stop spending energy 24-48 hours before Attack Madness or Raid Madness events, collect all daily free energy, and claim social media links. Going into a big event with 500+ energy gives you a massive head start.

Villages are the primary progression system in Board Adventure. Each village contains 5 items, and each item requires 5 upgrades to complete, for a total of 25 upgrades per village.
Each upgrade costs coins. The cost scales dramatically as you advance to higher villages. Early villages might cost a few thousand coins per upgrade, while later villages can cost millions. You earn coins from board tiles, raids, and attacks.
Completing all 5 items in a village unlocks the next village and gives you rewards:
The key question is: should you rush through villages or take your time? The answer depends on events:
When a Village Master event starts, upgrade your cheapest items first. Each individual upgrade completion counts as one event point, regardless of cost. Five cheap upgrades give more event progress than one expensive one.
PvP interactions are a core part of Board Adventure. When you land on an attack or raid tile, you interact with another player's village.
When you land on an attack tile, you choose one of another player's 5 buildings to strike. If the building has no shield, you steal a large chunk of their coins. If it has a shield, the shield absorbs the attack and you get a smaller payout. Attacks are the primary way aggressive players accumulate coins.
Raids let you dig through another player's village. You get 3 digs in a grid, and each dig reveals either coins or nothing. Raids typically yield more coins than attacks, especially when boosted by the Foxy pet. During Raid Madness events, raids become extremely lucrative.
Shields protect your buildings from attacks. Each building can hold one shield at a time. When an opponent attacks a shielded building, the shield breaks but your building takes no damage and they earn fewer coins. You earn shields by landing on shield tiles on the board.
You can stack up to 3 shields per building with the Rhino pet active. Without Rhino, it's 1 shield maximum per building.
| Pet | Bonus | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Foxy | +119% raid rewards | Raid-focused gameplay, Raid Madness events |
| Tiger | +410% attack rewards | Attack-focused gameplay, Attack Madness events |
| Rhino | Extra shield defense | Protecting coin stockpiles, defensive play |
During Attack Madness events, activate Tiger and focus on attacks for massive coin payouts. During Raid Madness, switch to Foxy. When you're saving coins for a Village Master event, activate Rhino to protect your treasury. Always match your pet to the current event.
Card collecting is one of the most rewarding and strategic aspects of Board Adventure. Completing card sets gives enormous rewards including energy, coins, and exclusive items.
Cards are grouped into sets of 9. Each set belongs to a themed album. To complete a set, you need all 9 unique cards. Duplicate cards can be traded with other players (once you unlock trading at Village 3).
| Rarity | Stars | Drop Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 1 star | Very High | Found in all chest types, easy to collect |
| Uncommon | 2 stars | High | Found in most chests regularly |
| Rare | 3 stars | Moderate | Golden and Magical chests primarily |
| Epic | 4 stars | Low | Magical and Ruby chests, event rewards |
| Legendary | 5 stars | Very Low | Ruby chests, special events, extremely rare drops |

Trading unlocks at Village 3 and is the fastest way to complete card sets. You can send up to 5 cards per day to friends, but only duplicate cards (cards you own 2+ copies of) are tradeable.
Golden Trade events happen 2-3 times per month and are the only time you can trade golden cards. Each event designates exactly 2 specific golden cards that are tradeable during the window. Plan ahead and coordinate with trading partners before the event starts.

Pets are companions that provide powerful bonuses during gameplay. You can have one pet active at a time, and choosing the right pet for the situation is crucial.
Foxy is the raid specialist. When active, Foxy boosts your raid rewards by up to 119% at max level. This means every raid digs up more than double the normal coins. Foxy is essential during Raid Madness events.
Tiger is the attack powerhouse. At max level, Tiger boosts attack rewards by an incredible 410%. That means attacks pay out more than 5x the normal amount. During Attack Madness events, Tiger is mandatory for maximizing coin income.
Rhino is your defensive companion. When active, Rhino provides extra shield protection for your buildings, allowing shields to stack and absorb more attacks before breaking. Activate Rhino when you're stockpiling coins and don't want to lose them to attackers.
Pets level up by feeding them treats. Treats are earned through gameplay, events, and card set completions. Higher-level pets provide stronger bonuses. Focus on leveling the pet that matches your current playstyle — raid-heavy players should prioritize Foxy, attack-heavy players should level Tiger.
Pets have a limited active duration. Once activated, they stay active for a set number of actions before going to sleep. Time your pet activation to coincide with the start of events for maximum value.
Events are where the biggest rewards are earned. Board Adventure runs multiple event types on a rotating schedule, and participating efficiently is the difference between casual and top-tier players.

Chests are the primary way to obtain new cards. They come in several tiers, and understanding which chests to prioritize can dramatically speed up your collection.
| Chest Type | Cards Inside | Rarity Range | How to Get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wooden Chest | 2 cards | 1-2 star mostly | Board tiles, basic rewards |
| Golden Chest | 4 cards | 1-3 star | Board tiles, event rewards |
| Magical Chest | 8 cards | 1-4 star | Event milestones, village completion |
| Ruby Chest | 8+ cards | 1-5 star (guaranteed rare+) | Premium purchase, top event rewards |
Open chests during Cards Boom events whenever possible. These events boost the number of cards you receive from each chest, sometimes doubling or tripling the output. If you earn a Magical or Ruby chest outside of Cards Boom, save it for the next Cards Boom event to maximize cards received.
Higher villages yield better chests from board tiles. Players in Village 100+ see significantly more Golden and Magical chests on the board compared to early-game players.
These are the strategies used by top Board Adventure players to maximize rewards and progress faster than everyone else.
Stop rolling 24-48 hours before major events. Collect all free energy sources (daily rewards, social media links, friend sends) without spending. Enter events with 500-1,000+ energy for a massive advantage.
Coins sitting in your treasury can be stolen by raids and attacks. The safest way to store wealth is in upgrades. If you're not saving for a Village Master event, spend coins on upgrades immediately. Never log off with a large coin balance — that's what raiders target.
Some events overlap. When Attack Madness overlaps with a Tournament, every attack contributes to both events simultaneously. Watch the event calendar and plan your heaviest play sessions for when events overlap.
Switch pets based on what you're doing:
The players who complete sets fastest aren't the ones who open the most chests — they're the ones with the largest trading networks. Join trading groups, add friends actively, and use tools like SwapDeck to match with traders who have exactly what you need.
Seasonal sets have a 60-day window. If you don't complete them in time, your progress resets. Always prioritize seasonal sets over permanent ones, since permanent sets will always be available.
Spending all their energy randomly instead of saving for events. Events multiply the value of every roll by 2-10x. A player who spends 500 energy during an event will earn far more than a player who spends 2,000 energy outside of events. Patience is the most powerful strategy.
