Board Adventure Events Guide

Complete breakdown of every event type in Board Adventure. Learn what each event rewards, how often they appear, and how to maximize your participation.

Why Events Matter

Events are the most important aspect of Board Adventure for serious players. Every action you take during an event — rolling, attacking, raiding, building — earns double value because it counts toward both normal gameplay rewards AND event milestone rewards.

Top players plan their entire week around the event calendar. They stockpile energy before events, match their active pet to the event type, and time village upgrades to coincide with Village Master events. If you take only one piece of advice from this entire guide, let it be this: play during events, save energy outside of events.

All Events Explained

Attack Madness

Combat High Priority

One of the most rewarding events in the game. Every attack you land earns points toward milestone rewards. Higher milestones give increasingly valuable prizes including massive coin payouts, rare chests, energy, and exclusive cards.

Strategy:

  • Activate Tiger pet for +410% attack rewards
  • Enter with 500+ stockpiled energy
  • Use 1x rolls for precise board control — land on attack tiles specifically
  • Don't skip attacks; even low-value targets contribute event points
  • If you run out of energy mid-event, watch ads and claim social media links

Raid Madness

Combat High Priority

The raid equivalent of Attack Madness. Every raid earns event points, and milestone rewards are equally generous. Raids tend to yield more coins per action than attacks, making this event extremely profitable when combined with Foxy.

Strategy:

  • Activate Foxy pet for +119% raid rewards
  • Stockpile energy beforehand — this event rewards heavy play
  • Use 1x rolls to target raid tiles on the board
  • Target high-village players when raiding for bigger coin payouts
  • Combine with coin spending on village upgrades to prevent being raided back

Viking Quest

Exploration

A board-progression event where you advance along a special Viking-themed path by spending energy on rolls. Each milestone along the Viking path gives rewards including energy, coins, chests, and sometimes exclusive cards not available elsewhere.

Strategy:

  • General-purpose event — any pet works, but Foxy or Tiger maximize coin income
  • Focus on rolling consistently; every roll contributes
  • Higher milestones give increasingly rare rewards — push as far as you can
  • Viking Quest exclusive cards are only available during this event

Cards Boom

Cards High Priority

The most important event for card collectors. During Cards Boom, every chest you open gives bonus cards — sometimes double or triple the normal amount. This is when you should open all your saved chests.

Strategy:

  • Save all Magical and Ruby chests for this event
  • Roll actively to earn chests from board tiles during the event
  • Buy chests from the shop if you have coins to spare — the bonus cards make purchases more valuable
  • After opening chests, immediately use SwapDeck to scan for new trading opportunities
  • This is the best time to make progress on seasonal sets

Golden Trade

Cards

The only time golden cards can be traded between players. Each Golden Trade event designates exactly 2 specific golden cards as tradeable. These events are critical for completing golden card sets.

Strategy:

  • Check the designated cards immediately when the event starts
  • Coordinate with trading partners before the event if possible
  • Golden trades count toward your 5-card daily send limit — plan accordingly
  • Prioritize golden trades over regular trades during the event window
  • Keep a list of which golden cards have been tradeable in past events to predict future ones

Village Master

Building High Priority

A village-building event where every upgrade you complete earns event points. This is when you should spend all your saved coins on building upgrades. The milestone rewards are massive — energy, rare chests, cards, and exclusive items.

Strategy:

  • Save all your coins for this event — don't upgrade outside of Village Master
  • Upgrade the cheapest items first — each individual upgrade counts as one event point regardless of cost
  • Five cheap upgrades > one expensive upgrade for event progress
  • Activate Rhino pet to protect your coin stockpile from raids/attacks before the event
  • During the event, switch to Tiger or Foxy to earn more coins for more upgrades

Balloon Frenzy

Exploration

A casual event where balloons appear on your screen as you play. Popping balloons gives coins, energy, and card rewards. It runs alongside normal gameplay, so every roll you make has a chance of spawning balloons.

Strategy:

  • Play normally and pop every balloon that appears
  • Don't ignore this event just because it seems casual — the cumulative rewards add up
  • Balloon Frenzy often overlaps with other events, giving you double event value per roll

Treasure Cave

Exploration

An exploration event where you delve into a cave to find treasures. As you play normally, you earn "cave progress" that advances you deeper. Each depth level awards increasingly rare prizes, including rare cards, energy, and exclusive items.

Strategy:

  • Spend energy actively during this event — more rolls = deeper cave progress
  • Deeper levels contain rare and exclusive cards not easily found elsewhere
  • This event often has a "choice" mechanic where you pick between two rewards — always choose cards over coins unless you desperately need coins

Team Chest

A cooperative event where you and your teammates work together to fill a shared chest. Every action — rolls, attacks, raids — contributes points to the team chest. When the chest is full, everyone on the team receives the rewards.

Strategy:

  • Join an active team with players who participate in events
  • Coordinate with teammates to ensure everyone contributes
  • Higher-tier team chests contain rarer cards — motivate your team to push
  • Inactive teammates hurt the whole team — remove them before events

Tournament

Competitive

A competitive leaderboard event where you're ranked against other players based on event points earned. Top-ranking players win exclusive prizes not available through any other method. Tournaments are the most competitive events in the game.

Strategy:

  • Enter with maximum stockpiled energy
  • Play intensively throughout the entire tournament window
  • Watch for tournaments that overlap with other events — your actions count for both
  • Top 10% placements typically receive the best exclusive rewards
  • If you can't commit to heavy play, focus on hitting reward milestones rather than top ranking

Event Optimization Tips

1. Check the Event Calendar Daily

Events are announced in-game and on social media. Check daily so you can start stockpiling energy at least 24 hours before a major event.

2. Stack Events When Possible

Some events overlap. When Balloon Frenzy runs alongside Attack Madness, every attack gives you Attack Madness points AND spawns balloons. When a Tournament overlaps with Raid Madness, every raid counts double. Plan your heaviest play sessions for event overlaps.

3. Match Your Pet to the Event

Tiger for Attack Madness. Foxy for Raid Madness. Rhino before Village Master (to protect coins). This single decision multiplies your event performance by 2-5x.

4. Don't Waste Energy Between Events

Every roll outside of an event is worth roughly half the value of a roll during an event. The math is simple: if you have 500 energy, spending it during an event gives you event rewards + normal rewards. Spending it outside events gives you only normal rewards. Stockpile whenever possible.

5. Save Chests for Cards Boom

If you earn a Magical or Ruby chest, do not open it unless Cards Boom is currently active. The bonus cards from opening chests during Cards Boom are too valuable to miss.

The Power of Event Stacking

A single roll during overlapping events can earn: normal board tile rewards + Event A milestone progress + Event B milestone progress + potential balloon pop rewards. That's 3-4x the value of a normal roll. Always identify and exploit event overlaps.

Maximize Every Event

SwapDeck helps you complete card sets faster by matching trades automatically. More completed sets = more rewards = more energy for events. It's a cycle of winning.
